Counselling

I am a qualified Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural counsellor and certified trainer in Motivational Interviewing, with nearly 30 years’ experience supporting individuals through challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship difficulties, self-harm, neurodiversity, and grief. I have worked across Drug and Alcohol Services, school-based counselling, local authority wellbeing services, and with Gwent Police. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I provide a safe, confidential space where clients can explore emotions, build resilience, and make meaningful, positive changes.

MINDFULNESS

As a qualified MBCT practitioner, I offer 1:1 and group mindfulness sessions, including the NHS-recognised 8-week MBCT programme. Mindfulness helps individuals manage stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties, menopause symptoms, focus, self-esteem, and overall wellbeing by fostering present-moment awareness. Through techniques like meditation, deep breathing, and mindful walking, clients learn to observe thoughts without judgment, regulate emotions, build resilience, and cultivate calm, self-compassion, and balance in everyday life.

REFLEXOLOGY

As a qualified Reflexologist, I offer therapies that promote relaxation, support overall wellbeing, and help relieve stress, anxiety, tension, and illness. Using gentle pressure on the feet and hands, reflexology works with the body’s energy pathways to release blockages, restore balance, and encourage the mind and body to let go of tension.

indian head mASSAGE

Rooted in Ayurvedic principles, focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, and upper back—areas where tension often builds. This gentle, non-invasive therapy helps relieve stress and tension, reduce headaches, improve circulation, enhance mental clarity and focus, promote relaxation, and support overall wellbeing. It is ideal for easing physical discomfort, rebalancing the body and mind, and providing a moment of calm in everyday life.
